R Kids' founding families were excited to make the trip to personally connect with this non profit in July, but the pandemic of 2020 had different plans. When international travel was shut down, R Kids' board members and their families moved their annual trip to Florida, where the families had a virtual conference call with Arijah's founder. The families were able to hear about the past work of the Arijah Foundation and the story of the inspirational young woman from her mother herself.
R Kids demonstrated our admiration for and commitment to Arijah through a financial donation which will help their foundation to provide wheelchairs for the children on the island who do not have access to any.
We look forward to returning next year to personally meet and play with the kids whom now have the ability to enjoy playing in their wheelchairs!
